Dr. Chanel Newcomer grew up in McDonough, Georgia.
She graduated with her bachelors in both Chemistry and Biology from Auburn University at Montgomery, where she also played 5 years of Division II softball. She then went to northeast Tennessee to obtain her DVM from Lincoln Memorial University. She has special interests in internal medicine and soft tissue surgery.
Dr. Newcomer currently lives in Marietta with her soon-to-be husband. Her family pets include a Shih-Tzu, Bella, and an American Paint Horse, Meischa. In her free time, you can find Dr. Newcomer at Braves games, slow-pitch softball fields, the gym, or riding her horse.
