After graduating from the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine in 2016, Dr. James completed a rotating emergency and specialty internship at Indyvet in 2017, treating many critical cases in one of Indianapolis's busiest Emergency hospitals.
He then moved back to his home state of Georgia, where he has been practicing small animal medicine ever since. He is a cat fanatic, and is passionate about making veterinary visits as comfortable and anxiety free as possible for people and their pets.
When he is not treating animals, Dr. James is an avid moviegoer, and his other interests include chess, reading and creative writing, and long distance running. He loves to travel internationally, and is close to completing his goal of visiting every continent. He lives in Decatur with his fiancee Tori and their cat, Biscuit.
