Kimberly is originally from Pennsylvania and moved to Georgia in 2003. She and her husband, Jason, now live in the Druid Hills area of Atlanta. Kim has one sister who still resides in Pennsylvania. Kimberly enjoys swimming, hanging out at the pool, going to concerts, eating tacos, reading (chick lit novels) and spending time with Jason. Also "members of the family" are their three cats, Willis, Mona and Yolanda. Kimberly claims her most notable achievement is maintaing a positive attitude and always being able to see the bright side in most situations.

Why she does this: "Working with animals is my passion and I am grateful to be able to do something I care so much about".

Justin, an only child, was born and has lived in the Atlanta area his entire life.  His hobbies include photography, drawing, swimming, acrobatics, reading and yoga,  Justin has 2 cats - Sargent Pepper and Father MacKenzie.  Justin attended Georgia State University, where he earned his Bachelor's degree in Music.

Why he does this:  "I enjoy being part of a team that works hard together to take care of those that love us unconditionally".

Ashley was born and lived in Griffin, GA until 2005, at which time she moved to Atlanta.  She and her husband, Grant, whom she met while attending University of Georgia, now live in the Vinings area of Atlanta.  In 2005, Ashley graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from University of Georgia.  She enjoys tennis, reading, shopping and sewing.  Ashley and Grant have two dogs who were both rescued - Bailey, a small mixed breed and Ruthie, a one year old golden retriever. 

Why she does this:  "Working with animals brings a smile to my face everyday and I am truly blessed that I get to do what I love".

Veterinary Assistant

Rob and his wife, Wanda, have one son, Kobei, and one daughter, Imani. Rob also has two daughters, Britley and Destiny.  Rob is a US Navy veteran, earning multiple commendations during his seven years in service.  He is now enrolled at Shorter College in Atlanta, while working at The Village Vets.  His interests include all sports.  Robert worked with Dr. Draper at his former employer in Tucker, GA back in the mid '90s.  Rob has been working as a Veterinary Assistant at the Decatur practice since joining The Village Vets, however since the Buckhead practice opened spring of 2011, Rob has been working there as a Vet. Assistant as well.

Why he does this: Rob said he has loved animals all his life and says that The Village Vets is the perfect place for him to show it and give back

“Freda” was born in Minneapolis, MN, later lived in Savannah, GA and in 2003 relocated to Marietta – where she resides with her husband, Nate,  daughter, Aryah (10/11) and their two cats Mischief and Kaleo.  Freda has one sister, Chaleta, who also lives in the Atlanta area and a brother, Darius,  who is in Chicago.  Freda has earned a Bachelor’s degree in Marine Science.  She has been involved with several volunteer organizations, such as - Light of Hope Ministry, Cobb [County] Emergency Response Team, and Savings Generations Youth Organization.   Freda’s hobbies include reading, shopping, playing cards, watching movies, and going to museums and aquariums.
